Grim Reaper's Eulogy
Wow, good fun! Step right up and drink one of these 22 ounce babies and see if you don't become part of the side show! It is a bit bitter with the high ABV rating and the hearty hops. But, if you can get past it, you'll be laughing like one of the clowns in the carnival. I enjoyed it...Blockhead is a great curiosity.

This beer has a real original package label that should act as a warning for the timid and mild of heart. Try one and see if you aren't compelled to run away with the circus. It's like pounding a nail into your skull...but in a fun way!

  1. Hello Death (may I call you Death?). This is Zak Davis from Shmaltz Brewing Company. Just wanted to say thanks so much for picking up a bottle of Human Blockhead, and then writing about it. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it. If you haven't tried it yet, you should also check out our Bittersweet Lenny's R.I.P.A. It's a rye-based double IPA that we brewed to commemorate the death of Lenny Bruce. Seems appropriate given you're occupation. L'Chaim!!

  2. Zak, please, call me The Reaper. "Death" has such a finality to it, don't you think?

I have read much about the Shmaltz brews and was hoping to get around to trying one, and then received the Blockhead as a gift. Was I ever impressed. It put a great smile on my face. I will definitely look for the Lenny Bruce R.I.P.A. and will post my findings.

L'Chaim to all at Shmaltz! Keep up the good work!

PS - Being from the Tri-State area originally, I sure appreciate the Coney Island theme!
